The Ge'ermu-Ku'erle  Railway, running from Golmud Station to Korla Station, has a mainline length of 1,213.7 kilometers, with 505.6 kilometers in Qinghai and 708.1 kilometers in Xinjiang. The railway passes through regions with harsh natural conditions, including severe sandstorms, significant elevation changes, and fragile ecosystems. Particularly, the altitude poses the greatest challenge, with the highest point exceeding 3,500 meters and the air being thin. The entire line experiences significant day-to-night temperature variations, high elevations, and numerous steep construction sections. The CPG500 long rail laying machine effectively adapted to these extreme construction conditions. Our technical team and on-site construction personnel worked closely with the project owner, overcoming numerous challenges, and successfully completed this worlds highest 500-meter-long steel rail integrated construction and laying task, ensuring it was smooth, safe, efficient, and of high quality.
