Kkka Railway Project construction (first integrated long rail laying railway in Nigeria)
The Kaka-Ka railway, constructed by China Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd., runs from Kaduna in Nigeria to Kano, an important city in the north, with a main line of about 204 kilometers.

The Kano-Kano Railway is a crucial component of Nigerias three north-south and five east-west railway network. It connects to the already operational Akara Railway to the south, and upon completion, it will run directly from Kano to the capital, Abuja. The railway continues southward through the planned Ibadan-Abuja Railway and the already operational Lagos-Ibadan Railway, which will connect directly to the most populous city in Africa, Lagos, and link it to the port of Lagos. Once fully operational, the Lagos-Kano Railway will become a major transportation artery running from north to south across Nigeria. This will not only facilitate the northward transport of goods and the southward flow of northern resources but also significantly impact the sustainable industrial development along the railway line and deepen social and cultural integration in Nigeria.

The project was completed by CPG500 long rail laying unit.
