In the construction of high-speed railways, the use of prefabricated track panels has become increasingly mature. As a critical component in the railway support layer, track transport vehicles are essential for the transportation of these panels. To accelerate the construction of railway track panels, domestic construction units have adopted a dual-track parallel construction method. However, due to the limitations of the support layer site, the operation of trailer trains is significantly constrained. To meet the transportation needs of various frame-type track panels for intercity high-speed railways, which can operate on the completed support layer and work in harmony with gantry cranes, a two-way driving, hydraulic mechanical transmission, and self-powered flatbed transport vehicle has been developed by integrating shipboard flatbed transport and aircraft traction technology. This vehicle offers advantages such as high speed, strong climbing ability, easy operation, flexible movement, high reliability, and good economy. The GDB40 track transport vehicle can also transport Type I and Type II plates in subway construction, including segments and box culverts. It features two-way driving and the ability to turn both forward and backward.
